Mission Statement
Haunted Investigation Society of Indiana (HISI) mission is to research, gather, and study hard evidence of paranormal activity of all kinds. We will work diligently to gather that evidence and present it for scrutiny. At no time we will create, or accept, evidence that is false.
We are dedicated to the scientific research of paranormal activity and our ultimate goal is to collect data that will lead to a better understanding of paranormal activity everywhere and to further the paranormal research field as a credible and respected field of scientific study.
HISI is always interested in discussing and sharing information related to the paranormal with others of like minds. We are always willing to help any team or paranormal investigator with their research and investigations.
We will also provide assistance, without a charge of any kind, to those people who request help in understanding their paranormal disturbances and their privacy will always be maintained at all costs.
Disclaimer: None of our investigators are "Certified". There is no such thing as a "certified" ghost hunter. If you are told there is then it is a scam. There is no proof, yet, of what a ghost or haunting is so you can’t be a certified paranormal ghost hunter. For certification there would have to be an accredited program, which must be completed successfully, and then there would have to be some kind of governmental requirement, such as licensing or registration. To this date, there is NOT ONE accredited school, either primary or secondary, that can offer up a "Certified Paranormal Investigator" certificate. Anyone who tells you different is a fake.
